Stefan Åberg
Stefan, now residing in the Norwegian capital of Oslo, began his career as a travelling pop star as member of hit group FREEBEE (who gained huge popularity in Russia) in the mid 90´s, and then moved on to produce for Swedish hit acts like DA BUZZ and FREDRIK KEMPE.
Has enjoyed a string of successful hits in Japan with acts such as NewS, Tegomass, Kat-Tun and Nami Tamaki, and has been working closely with new female artist Mai Fujisawa, daughter of Joe Hisaishi, the score composer of the internationally renowned animation movies from Studio Ghibli.
In August 2011 he scored one of his biggest hits with the no 1 debut single of Johnnys band Kis My ft2 in Japan, with “Everybody Go”, the 2nd best selling debut single in Japan of all times.
Has also been represented in the extremely popular Swedish selection finals for Eurovision Song Contest.
Stefan has a wide range of writing and production abilities, delivering everything from dance/pop to blown up opera pop, with strongly guitardriven rock material in between, always striving for a “perfect sound”.
