Jacob ”Jake” Olofsson

Jacob ”Jake” Olofsson

Brilliant track producer and topline writer, with a modern r&b/urban taste, but still with a strongly commercial pop sound.

Has his own artist project “Jake Oh”, which offered the NRJ track “Let You In”.

In 2008 and 2009 he wrote a string of great songs as part of “Drop Boys”, together with  Magnus “Filthy” Lidehäll (Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Agnes), placed on various artists in Asia and Europe, and had one of the biggest local language hits in Sweden in the summer of 2009 with “Svenne Banan”, recorded and co-written by Magnus Lidehäll and the artist, Promoe.

Teamed up as part of the “JDL”-team with David Maiocchi, also co-writer for the Jake Oh project, and Lisa Desmond-Linder.

The trio was off to a good start in relatively short time with lots of co-writing projects for various acts, and several holds on the Asian market.

Even if the JDL team still do work together, they have also started their separate songwriting and production careers.

Jacob produces Scandinavian Songs own artist project Thomas Stenström (licensed to Roxy Recordings/Universal), whose first single release”Detsamma” ended up as one of the 25 most played tracks on the really important national radio network P3 in 2011. He delivers material for ex-Army of Lovers legend Alexander Bard´s various projects, and has a couple of interesting collaborations cooking in the US, including exciting r&b-newcomer Kentrell.

In 2012 he´s also collaborating with legendary Swedish r&b/pop artist Eric Gadd,  urban pop guy Swingfly, but most notably Ansiktet “The Face” (Universal) who in the winter of this year enjoys a smash hit with “Äckligt” (“Disgusting”).
