Thomas Stenström

Born 1988.

Coming from the small Swedish town of Uddevalla, Thomas took his first steps in the music world as member of local cover bands, but expressing himself with his own creations in the singer/songwriter field was important, and when he received the prestigious Ted Gärdestad scholarship in 2010 he got inspired enough to take a decision to devote himself to his own music, 100%. During his studies at “Musikmakarna” high school he got in touch with Scandinavian Songs, who signed him under a development deal, introduced him to their skilled producer Jacob “Jake Oh” Olofsson, and after recording a few demos the record labels lined up for a bidding war, and he finally got signed to successful indie Roxy Recordings (now part of the Universal Music group).

His first single release “Detsamma” was an immediate radio hit on national network P3 in the fall of 2011, and his follow-up singles are also doing really well.

In 2012 Thomas co-writes with Jacob and one of Sweden´s most well known and respected pop artists for his new album, slated for 2013 release.
